Technology essay

We are becoming increasingly dependent on computer technology. It is used in business, crime detection and even to fly planes. What will it be used for in future? Is this dependence on technology a good thing or should we be suspicious of its benefits? 

The revolution in the domains of computer inventions has played an important role in our daily lives, ranging from business information management, security detections to aviation breakthroughs. While there are increasing numbers of people relying on the computers, it seems to me that negative sides in terms of computer technologies could be considered intensively.

On the one hand, it is unquestionable that many aspects of human’s life will be immensely influenced by new forms of technology. For examples, video – conference, internet and other social communication channels will control the way we are interact each other. The probability is that students all over the world might have equal opportunities to access free online valued courses or mobile libraries in order to pursue their education instead of spending time on lecture hall. Similarly, by utilizing new forms of technology such as cloud computing, human resource management software, enterprises could save much cost of files documenting and enhance their advantages in competitive market

On the other hand, there are also a number of potential dangers. One of these drawbacks is the privacy invasion. Confidential information of either individuals or corporate could be hacked and attacked deliberately.  Moreover, the most serious influence that if people depend too much on computer for forming conversation, they could be addicted and hardly find the effective way to communicate sincerely in real life. In instance, if each member in family possessed own computer or smart phone, they could spend much time for working on these kinds of modern technology and less time for sharing emotion with the others.

For all analysis above, in my opinion, while the revolution of technology is inevitable, its privileges may not be entirely positive.  Computer should be moderately used and all severe dangers could be foreseen intensively in order to avoid any influences on our life’s values.
